Books, magazines, graphic novels, DVDs, audiobooks, free programs, free public computers and Wi-Fi, printing and photocopying, research help, puzzles and games, 3D printing, and more!
Getting a Library Card
All Dover-Foxcroft residents and students at SeDoMoCha or Foxcroft Academy can get a free library card. All Residents of Penobscot and Piscataquis Counties may receive free cards through the Paula Willoughby fund. A $20 deposit will be held for all other “seasonal” patrons, to be returned after returning materials and closing account. For full details please visit our “Getting a Library Card” page.
1,000 Books Before Kindergarten
1,000 Books before Kindergarten is a program that encourages children and caregivers to read books together! Click the link above to learn more.
Fine Free
The library is now fine free! We no longer charge fines on late items. If you have overdue fines from the past, come in and we will clear your account.
Story Time
Enjoy stories, songs, and friends every Friday at 10 am. Story Time is a fun way for kids from birth to age six to interact with peers and develop early literacy skills.
Check Out Adventure
The library offers free passes to Maine State Parks and the Maine Discovery Museum in Bangor. Contact the library to reserve a pass for your family!
Text Sets
Parents and teachers are invited to check out a backpack of books for younger readers on topics like: Art, Dinosaurs, Folk & Fairy Tales, Geography, Nature, Poetry, and much more. Ask at the circulation desk!
